Minnesota peatlands are approximately six thousand years old and contain the largest development of patterned peatlands in the lower forty-eight states. Peat, Inc. is a Minnesota-based peat company servicing worldwide. We harvest peat about six months a year, but stockpiles of this natural resource are bagged year-round. In terms of quality, Minnesota peat is comparable to any European or Canadian product.
