Our Minnesota peatlands are approximately 6,000 years old and contain the larges development (6.3 million acres) of patterned peatlands in the lower 48 states. We offer both coarse and fine grade sphagnum peat and reed-sedge peat. Our peat is harvested about six months a year, but stockpiles of this natural resource are bagged year-round. Minnesota peat is comparable to any European or Canadian product, with the benefit of closer access to our regional markets. Our excellent rapport with research laboratories, universities and major suppliers to the industry, have made us the peat product of choice.
